FAQ

How are acronyms handled?

A run of capitals counts as one word: XMLHttpRequest splits into xml, http, request, so snake_case gives xml_http_request.

What about digits?

Digits stay with the word before them: utf8Encoder becomes utf8_encoder, not utf_8_encoder.

Where is each format usually used?

camelCase for JavaScript variables and functions, PascalCase for classes and components, snake_case for Python and database columns, CONSTANT_CASE for constants and environment variables, kebab-case for URLs and CSS classes.

Is my input uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser; no sign-in and no quota.
