Which convention does it follow?

Conventional Commits: type(scope): subject, with an imperative subject under 72 characters, plus a body and BREAKING CHANGE section when needed.

What if my diff is huge?

To bound cost and latency, the diff is truncated to the first 12,000 characters. For very large changes, split them or describe the key points instead.

Can I use it on private code?

You can, but the diff is sent to Google Gemini for processing. Remove sensitive fragments first, or describe the change in words.
