JSON ⇄ CSV Converter

Convert between JSON arrays and CSV: nested objects flattened, quotes and line breaks handled, leading zeros kept, and CSV injection flagged.

Runs in your browser: input and output are never sent to the server, and the platform does not store your input.

Input

Not stored

Values with leading zeros (007, zip codes) always stay strings.

Output

Fill in the fields on the left, then run.

How to use

  1. 1Paste a JSON array or a CSV with a header row; the direction is detected automatically.
  2. 2Change the delimiter if needed — European Excel often uses semicolons.
  3. 3Copy or download the result.

FAQ

How do nested objects become CSV?

They are flattened into a.b columns such as address.city; arrays are stored as a JSON string in one cell, so nothing is lost on the way back.

Excel shows garbled characters?

Excel opened the UTF-8 file with the wrong encoding. Use Data → From Text/CSV and choose UTF-8, or open it in Google Sheets.

What is CSV injection?

Cells starting with = + - @ may run as formulas in Excel. Take care when exporting user-supplied data; the tool flags it when it sees one.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, so it is fine for internal data.
