FAQ

What size should the preview image be?

1200×630 (1.91:1) is recommended, under 5 MB, using a full https URL. Relative paths do not work on most platforms.

I changed the tags but the preview is stale.

Platforms cache their crawl. Re-fetch with Facebook's Sharing Debugger or X's Card Validator.

Do I need the Twitter tags at all?

X falls back to og: tags, but twitter:card is what decides between the large and small card layout.
