Issue & PR Template Generator
Generate GitHub bug report and feature request forms (Issue Forms), a pull request template and config.yml — in English or Chinese.
Runs in your browser: input and output are never sent to the server, and the platform does not store your input.
Output
Fill in the fields on the left, then run.
How to use
- 1Pick the template and its language.
- 2Add labels or a contact link if you need them.
- 3Save it under .github at the path shown and push; the form appears when someone opens a new issue.
FAQ
How are Issue Forms different from Markdown templates?
Issue Forms (.yml) render as a form with fields that can be required, so reporters cannot skip the important parts; a Markdown template is pre-filled text that is easy to delete wholesale.
Why disable blank issues?
Once forms exist, a blank issue is the shortcut around them. Turn it off in config.yml and point usage questions to Discussions.
My labels are not applied?
Labels in a template must already exist in the repo; GitHub ignores the ones it does not know.
Is my input uploaded?
No. Templates are generated in your browser; no sign-in and no quota.
